Fore Street Murals is an Enfield Council and Greater London Authority funded project to bring public art to Fore Street and the Edmonton area. Each artwork has been co-created by local residents, including schools, and community groups, launched with Albert AGWA's artwork on College Gardens via a public vote.

  • Enfield Council

    Enfield London Borough Council is the local authority for the London Borough of Enfield in Greater London, England. It is one of 32 London borough councils in the United Kingdom capital of London.

    Our borough is 12 miles from the centre of London and covers an area of 31.7 square miles (82.2 square kilometres, 8219 hectares). In 2020, we had an estimated population of 333,587 with a large population of both 0-14s and older people in comparison to the rest of London. It is a diverse place, which has welcomed communities from across the world. In particular, it has large Turkish, Greek and Cypriot populations.

  • The Greater London Authority

    The Good Growth Fund (GGF) is Mayor Sadiq Khan's £70 million regeneration programme to support growth and community development in London.

    Funded by the London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP) and managed and delivered by the Mayor of London’s Regeneration and Economic Development team, the programme is underpinned by three strategic and interrelated delivery themes:

    • Empowering London’s people;

    • Strengthening London’s places; and

    • Growing London’s prosperity

    In March 2020 the Enfield Council secured £1.1m GLA funding, matched by £1.1m of Council match to deliver a suite of projects, including a clean air route and schools street on Gorve Street, refurbishment of Fore Street Library, development of Snells Park garages into affordable workspace units and Fore Street Murals.

  • Fisher Cheng

    Established in 2018, Fisher Cheng practices collaborative architecture with a socially motivated agenda. The practice places value and weight on the transformative effect of design upon context and communities, with an approach that celebrates the civic aspects of everyday life.

    Recent achievements include the practice being awarded a residency as part of the Architecture Foundation Young Architects Residency 2021
